Privacy Policy

1. Camera, photos, and drawings

TraceArt requests camera permission to display a drawing reference over the live camera view, take photos, and record your drawing process when you choose those features. You can refuse or revoke camera permission in Android settings; camera-dependent features will then be unavailable.

You can also choose an image through your device's photo picker to use as a drawing reference. The app works with the image you select; using the picker does not grant unrestricted access to your photo library.

Drawing images, camera captures, recorded video, and coloring results are processed and saved on your device for the selected feature. The app keeps some artwork files and related records in its own storage and can export photos and videos to your device's pictures or movies library. The drawing-recording feature uses camera video; TraceArt does not request microphone access.

If you choose to share an artwork or recording, Android passes the selected file to the app or recipient you choose. That service's privacy practices apply to the copy you share.

2. Online content and Firebase services

The app uses online services to retrieve app configuration and drawing content. A service receiving a request also receives connection information needed to respond, such as an IP address, request time, and the requested resource.

Google Firebase services support analytics, crash reporting, installation-related operations, and remote app configuration. They can process device or app-instance identifiers, advertising identifiers where available, app interactions, app version, device and operating-system information, language, timestamps, and crash or diagnostic events. Providers may derive approximate location from an IP address. These services help understand app use, configure content, diagnose errors, and maintain reliability.

The information processed and retained by a provider depends on the service and its configuration. For more information, see Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy. Processing by online providers can take place in countries other than the country where you live.

3. Support messages

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to handle your support or privacy request. Include only the information needed for the request; do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive information.

4. Storage, backup, and deletion

App-local files, exported media, backups, and provider-managed information have different storage and deletion controls:

• You can remove TraceArt's local app data using Android's app-storage controls or by uninstalling the app. This can remove app preferences, imported copies, locally stored artwork, and related records.
• Delete exported drawings, photos, and videos separately through your device's files or photos application. Clearing TraceArt's storage does not necessarily delete these exported files or your original photos.
• Android backup or device-transfer services may copy eligible app data according to your device settings and the applicable service. Manage those backups separately; deleting local data does not necessarily remove an existing backup.
• Firebase and other online service records are managed under the applicable provider settings and retention policies. Retention periods differ by service and purpose.

Describe the request without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may need enough information to locate the relevant record and verify the request. Available rights and any retention requirements depend on applicable law and the service involved.

5. Children and privacy

If a child uses TraceArt, a parent or guardian should review the app and this policy, supervise camera use, and review photos or recordings before they are shared. Avoid including personal details about a child or other people in shared media.

Parents or guardians with a question or concern about information relating to a child can contact us using the address below and identify TraceArt. We will review the request and address it in accordance with applicable requirements.

6. Your device and security

Manage camera permission, app storage, and backup through your device settings. Keep your device secure and take care when exporting or sharing media. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TraceArt or its information practices change. The updated policy will appear on this page with a revised date. Review it periodically and before using a newly introduced feature that handles personal information.
